That's where he was raised, went to school, and attended college. "I don't think people realize how lovely it is here," he says. Fortuna’s mother was an assistant professor at the State University of New York (SUNY), Stony Brook. She seems to have had a bit of wanderlust. She loved to travel, and Demi and his younger brother got the chance to see the world.
