Root-Resistant Drip Line

Optimal water application is ensured with Toro’s DL2000 drip line. Using ROOT - GUARD technology, pre-emergent Treflan is impregnated into the emitters during the molding process. Once the product is installed in the ground, the slow release of Treflan creates a barrier, directing roots away from the emitter openings.

The pressure-compensating, self-cleaning emitters provide precise, even water application. The DL2000 is available with emitters spaced 12", 18" or 24" apart, and because there are no filters to change and no chemically-treated disks to handle, virtually no maintenance is required.

Moisture Manager

Appropriate for residential or commercial applications with multiple hydro-zones, the WATERMARK Soil Moisture Manager system consists of a sensor and control module that works in conjunction with the existing irrigation control system to prevent unnecessary watering cycles.

It provides a simple, cost-effective means of delivering only the amount of water necessary for plant health while conserving water.

Soil moisture thresholds can be set for each hydrozone to allow for site specific soil and plant types. No seasonal adjustments are required, which improves productivity for landscape managers. This equipment can manage up to eight hydro-zones.

Multi-Purpose Cap

The KwikCap is a multi purpose access point enclosure. It easily glues onto 2" PVC or ABS pipe. The units can be used anywhere an access point needs to be placed. This includes valves, wire splices and landscape lighting junctions.

Two models are available: a universal model for general applications and KwikCap-Dry, which is specifically designed for landscape lighting applications. KwikCap-Dry is water resistant to protect wires from moisture and corrosion and comes in a quick conceal color. KwikCap lids can be purchased separately. They fit into any competitors’ base assemblies, making them an easy, cost effective replacement.

Battery-Powered Controller

Hunter Industries’ new XC Hybrid Controller operates DC latching solenoids with battery power.

Ready for outdoor or indoor installation , the unit comes in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 station models and is ideal for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including, parks, gardens, roadway medians and roundabouts.

Features include a 365-day calendar, three independent programs, global seasonal adjustment and stationcontrolled sensors. With ‘Easy Retrieve’ memory backup and on-board, non-volatile memory, all of the controller’s watering programs can easily be recalled.

Flow Dripper

A fixed-base flow dripper and stake emitter, the Shrubbler 360 PC is ideal for planters, shrubs, containers and landscape applications.

The unit’s flow action is consistent for emitters on the same supply line. It has a throw diameter of up to 14" and a uniform flow rate between 6.6 and 9 gallons. Colorcoded for easy identification, the product is constructed of UV-stabilized material for increased longevity.

Residential Smart Controller

Contractors now have a simple-to-use tool that provides weather-based control with Rain Bird’s ESP- SMT Smart Control System. Suitable for residential applications, the unit consists of a controller chassis with an integrated “smart” panel and an on-site weather sensor that features a temperature sensor with an integrated solar shield. It also includes a “tipping rain bucket,” which allows for instantaneous rainfall measurements.

An intuitive setup “wizard” prompts users for information, such as site location and elevation. The ESP- SMT then takes that information and provides specific monthly historical weather data. The wizard also uses information such as sprinkler type, plant characteristics, sun exposure and soil type to develop an optimum irrigation schedule.

The unit’s smart panel is also compatible with Rain Bird’s ESP Modular Controller, making the ESP-SMT a simple upgrade for ESP modular users.

Tapered Lip Spray Heads

The I-PRO Series spray head from Irritrol combines a pressure-activated wiper seal and advanced formula lubricant that virtually eliminates troublesome stick-ups.

It features a unique tapered lip design that prevents debris from entering the body. A textured body style allows for a non-slip grip and easy installation.

With 4" and 6" replacement spray heads available, the I-PRO allows for a complete retrofit without having to purchase the body. Available in four pop-up heights with side inlet, pressure regulation and check valve options, the spray heads fit most landscape applications.

Wireless Remote Kit

The 8-input Remote Control Kit from Aquaterr offers wireless, solar-powered transmission and reception of signals for irrigation and wastewater management systems. Each kit consists of a transmitter, a receiver and an omni-directional antenna. Input sensors command the transmitter to send radio signals to a corresponding receiver. Transmitter input signals can come from temperature, moisture and flow detection switches and reservoir hi-lo water level and alarm switches. Receiver outputs can be sent to a range of actuator types, including pump and irrigation controllers.

Featuring a 5- mile range, the signal is uniquely encoded and redundant to avoid tampering. Solar panels keep the transmitter and receivers powered for up to several weeks. No radio license is required, and there are no cell phone costs.

Clog-Resistant Drip Line

DIG’s 1/4" Micro-line non-pressure compensating drip line features two outlets per dripper, providing extra assurance against clogging. Constructed of extruded micro tubing and UV-resistant polyethylene resins, the drip line features flow labyrinth in-line emitters that are preinserted into the inside wall of the product. A large filter along the unit’s cross-section ensures that particles on the bottom of the micro tubing do not enter the flow labyrinth.

Leak Stopper

A powerful and permanent solution against leaking PVC pipe joints, the Leak-B-Gone Ring requires no tools and installs in just 60 seconds; simply apply primer and cement and then slide the unit around the leaking area. It is available for seven different sizes of PVC pipe, ranging from " to 4".

Wire Tracker

A wire tracking and solenoid valve locator system, the Tracker Buddy is powered by a 9-volt battery and has a range of 900' and a depth of 1.5'. An internal speaker is supplemented with an auxiliary headphone for use in noisy environments.

Using the internal “chatter” circuit feature, the unit will identify a buried valve with a buzzing noise in addition to the receiver’s “null” and tonal sound. The “bed of nails” clip allows for connection to buried wires without having to disconnect the wire.

2Wire Decoder

Underhill’s 2Wire Decoder Modules allow Hunter ICC Controllers to function as 2Wire systems.

The unit snaps directly into the controller’s module slot and can operate all zones or only selected stations. The module is connected to a series of 2Wire field decoders placed at the valve station. Each decoder is programmed for operation with a unique “station address” that is recognized by the module.

A system can be expanded—just add as many zones as needed. Both the modules and the field decoders have 2-year warranties.

ET-Based Smart Controller

The Smart Dial controller saves water and reduces irrigation runoff by automatically reprogramming itself based on local levels of evapotranspiration (ET). Using the ET Everywhere Data service, the unit receives a paging signal with the local ET value from an orbiting satellite. The controller then adjusts its irrigation programming to replace the amount of water lost as a result of the previous day’s ET. The Dial adjusts each irrigation zone to apply only the amount of water needed.

Existing Rain Dial controllers can be converted to smart technology with Smart Dial modules.

Steel Enclosure

A secure pedestal enclosure, the Eagle-UPED is designed to house Rain Master’s Eagle Controllers.

Constructed of UL-approved stainless steel, the unit features a vandal-resistant secure latch. Filtered dual louvered panels provide cross-flow ventilation. A keyed lock and padlock provision are standard.

The unit comes with a 5-year warranty and is available with several options, including weather smart 24/7 ZipET, a Pro- Max remote control and a permanent mount Pro- Max receiver.

Hybrid Couplings

Tap’t Hybrid Couplings reduce debris entrapment caused by dead space at the end of HDPE lateral lines.

The coupling fuses onto the 2" or 63mm lateral line and connects right to a swing joint via Acme threads eliminating the dead space. No need for a saddle or line cap. The products are compatible with 2” or 63mm HDPE lateral lines.

Disc Filter

Constructed of non-corrosive components, disc-kleen filters filter water throughout the entire depth of the disc ring rather than just at the surface. The units come in a variety of sizes and are appropriate for a number of applications.

The 2” compact disc-kleen filter is for use with irrigation systems with a capacity of up to 80 gpm. For larger applications, such as multi-family developments and commercial applications, 2" and 3" models are available.

Scrubber Valve

Continual cleansing using Active Cleansing Technology (ACT), with the Toro P-220 Scrubber Valve ensures that dirt, algae, chlorines, chloramines and water treated with ozone will not impede valve performance.

ACT allows the valve’s turbine to rotate constantly to clean the metering/filtration area. Features such as the EZReg allow the unit to accommodate high-flow rates, making the valves versatile enough to be used in a variety of applications. The scrubber assembly is fully serviceable and can be purchased separately for retrofit or servicing in other valves.

Self Flushing Emitters

Featuring exclusive “NonStop” continuous self-flushing action, Bowsmith drip emitters are resistant to clogging from slime and other small particles.

The only emitters available with a minimum filtration requirement of “30mesh,” they are designed in both single and multi outlet models. The units are available in flow rates of 0.6 gph, 1.0 gph and 2.0 gph.

Winged Spray Jets

Maxijet’s One Piece Winged Spray Jets are ideal for any landscape application. These micro sprays use a minimum of 25% less water than conventional spray heads. They are available in 90, 180, 340, and a center strip pattern.

Rotary Sprinkler

The PGP Ultra rotary sprinkler has all the features of the PGP as well as a number of useful updates. A nonstrippable drive mechanism features auto-arc return and an internal gear drive improves the unit’s dirty water tolerance.

A slotted nozzle retainer screw is compatible with a Hunter wrench or any slotted screwdriver. Each sprinkler comes with 8 standard square-top nozzles and 4 low angle nozzles.

Web-Accessible Weather Conditions

Spectrum Weather.com is a web-accessible service that allows users to view weather conditions from any WatchDog 2000 weather station.

The weather station sends data directly to Spectrum Weather via WatchDog cellular, satellite or Spread-Spectrum wireless modem options. A direct interface to SpecWare 9 Pro software provides reports, graphs, disease models and other tools needed to analyze saved weather events.

The system allows users to label and define external sensors and view multiple stations. It can also be linked to private websites.

Smart Controller

Featuring automatic weather adjustments, web-powered irrigation control and global change features, ET Water smart controllers allow users to make quick adjustments to several stations across multiple controllers.

Newly enhanced custom reports provide graphic, easy-to-understand information, including descriptions of irrigation minutes and a summary of landscape settings. Additionally, the reports identify stations that are over/underwatering due to configuration or scheduling problems, so immediate adjustments can be made online.
