ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance and CB Richard Ellis Group, a commercial real estate company, landscaped 10 mini-parks in metered public parking spaces across the country to mark the Fourth Annual National PARK(ing) Day. Hoping to emphasize the importance of green spaces in urban areas, the organizers invited design and landscape companies to transform public parking spaces into temporary landscaped parks.
The 10-park project across the country set the record for most installations done by one company since PARK(ing) Day's outset.
