Ohio Town Wins Landscape Award

The town of Bexley, Ohio, won this year’s Project EverGreen Landscaped Areas Award in the national America in Bloom competition for its innovative use of plants and landscape materials. The award is given out based on how well a city improves its green spaces. Communities are evaluated on floral displays, urban forestry, landscaped areas, turf and groundcover, tidiness, environmental awareness and heritage conservation.

“As a community, Bexley demonstrates a commitment to preserving and enhancing green spaces for generations to come,” says Den Gardner, executive director for Project EverGreen. Bexley also received second place in the overall America in Bloom competition.
