ValleyCrest Companies, the largest privately-held landscape firm with nearly $1 billion in revenue, today announced that it has acquired Concepts in Greenery, a landscape services company based in Stuart, Florida.
Founded in 1993 by Dan Steinberg, who manages the company with partner and co-owner John Rose, Concepts in Greenery has achieved steady growth and market presence, providing landscape maintenance and installation services to a large and loyal customer base along the southeastern coast of Florida.
“Concepts in Greenery is a company that we have been impressed with for some time, due to its high quality work and outstanding reputation with their customers--they pride themselves on doing the best work in town,” said Roger Zino, president, ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance. “The company’s success is built upon a great group of more than 200 employees--from our point of view, the company’s most important asset,” he added. “This is a talented and enthusiastic group of people and we know that they will have great careers with ValleyCrest moving forward-we are looking forward to working with them.”
The addition of Concepts in Greenery further supports the company’s continuing growth in Florida, a market where ValleyCrest has been the largest landscape service provider since 1989. This acquisition follows other activity completed by ValleyCrest, including the recent and successful integration of Tropics North Landscaping.
