ValleyCrest Acquires Scapes, LLC

?ValleyCrest Companies, the nation?s largest full-service landscape services firm, today announced it is expanding its southeast operation through the acquisition of Scapes, LLC, a highly-respected landscape maintenance and design/build company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Scapes, founded in 1982, is run today by Managing Partner Ken Thomas and Principals Pete Wilkerson, Evan Rogers, and Steve Krumnaker, all who will remain with ValleyCrest.

Providing commercial landscape maintenance as well as residential and commercial design/build services across Georgia, Scapes is one of the fastest growing private companies in Atlanta and is known for its horticultural expertise and commitment to customer service. Its tradition of excellence includes a history of receiving some of the highest honors in the landscape industry, including recognition by the Professional Landscape Network (PLANET) and the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA).

Commenting on the acquisition, ValleyCrest President Richard A. Sperber said, ?We are excited to have this great group of professionals join ValleyCrest. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
