The Irrigation Association Wants You

| Latest News

The Irrigation Association wants to invite you to an educational happening: its trade show featuring new products to help you educate your clients about water conservation. But they also want to make sure you have an enjoyable time as well.

So it’s pulling out all the stops to encourage you to attend. For starters, the keynote speaker will be baseball legend and Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan. He will not only deliver the keynote address, he and Chuck Morgan, the public address announcer and senior vice president of the Texas Rangers, will moderate the Q&A portion of the address.

After retiring from baseball as a player (he had an unparalleled 27-year career), Ryan went on to own two minor-league baseball teams. He is now CEO of the Texas Rangers. Ryan will discuss how to take care of the customer. His strong commitment to customer satisfaction has played a key role in the success of his many business ventures; learn how Nolan Ryan went from a successful athlete to a very successful businessman.

As if that wasn’t enough, an opening night party, aptly named “Celebrate Texas,” on the evening of November 5th will kick off the opening of the Irrigation Show. Javier Colon, the 2011 winner of “The Voice” will be the headline act. Colon, a singer/songwriter, has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and continues to tour and perform throughout the United States. Colon was the first-ever winner of “The Voice.”

Hors d’oeuvres will be served from 7:30 p.m. until Colon takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. The event is open to all attendees with full registration.

The Trade Show and Education Conference is being held in Austin, Texas, on November 4 – 8th.  For more information, go to www.irrigation.org.
