Atlantic City, New Jersey, will spend $141,000 on extensive new landscaping near the Boardwalk and the Resorts Casino Hotel. The landscaping is planned to improve the appearance and safety around the casino, especially as the summer season is approaching. The project is funded by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

The improvements include the planting of 16 new trees, new arrangements of flowers, and brighter street lights. The project is scheduled for completion in June. Funding for the improvements was added to a $12.8 million commitment by the Casino Authority.
