There’s a new juggernaut in the landscape industry in Tucson, Arizona. Santa Rita Landscaping and Southwest Enviroscapes, two of the Grand Canyon State’s oldest landscape companies, have decided to merge.
Santa Rita Landscaping, founded in 1985, leads the Tucson market in custom residential landscape design and installation, landscape and grading services for homebuilders, and landscape maintenance. Southwest Enviroscapes is the younger company of the two, founded in 1992 by Richard Spross. Spross’ firm is one of the leading providers of landscape services for the commercial and public sectors in the city of Tucson.
Owners at both companies saw the merger as a natural fit. “For years, we have been a market leader in commercial and public sector landscaping,” said Spross. “With this merger, we are able to offer complete, quality landscape solution to customers across all markets.”
The new company will begin operations in the New Year under the name Santa Rita Landscaping.
