Lack of Rain Hurting Michigan Landscape Business

| Latest News

Landscape contractors in mid-Michigan are feeling the effects of a severe dry spell that is taking its toll on lawns and their businesses. The area hasn’t had any rain since late July, and local landscape crews are having to cut back on mowing clients’ lawns.

“If you're skipping somebody's yard, they aren't paying you that week to mow the grass, so subsequently, your revenues are going to be down."

To recover lost dollars, his crew has begun incorporating other services, like tree trimming, to their maintenance menu.
