PLANET Announces New Partnership

The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) have formed a collaborative partnership to improve occupational safety and health conditions at workplaces throughout the United States.

Working together, PLANET and NIOSH will use their efforts and expertise to advance the protection of workers, promote best practices, and encourage employers to develop and utilize occupational safety and health programs to reduce the risks for injuries and illnesses in the green industry.

The organizations will provide outreach, communication, and professional expertise to promote programs that address health and safety issues. They plan to participate at conferences, meetings, and other key events where there are occupational safety and health issues, and develop articles for publications.
