With the return to daylight saving time, irrigating your landscape will be allowed up to two days a week across 18 Florida counties within the St. Johns River Water Management District--after 4 p.m. and before 10 a.m., No irrigation will be allowed between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., and is limited to 3/4 inch of water per irrigation zone. Watering is restricted to no more than one hour per zone.
The landscape irrigation restrictions apply to water withdrawn from ground or surface water, from a private well or pump, or from a public or private water utility. The use of reclaimed water is not limited unless a local government has adopted a landscape irrigation ordinance that restricts the reclaimed water use of its customers.
