The Turfgrass Water Conservation Alliance (TWCA) made their first official appearance at the Turfgrass Producers International mid-winter meeting. The TWCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the environment through water conservation initiatives. Their focus is the promotion of plants that are able to thrive using limited amounts of water.
TWCA’s qualification program recognizes plants and other live goods products in the lawn and garden industry that provide a clear benefit in water conservation. Products receive a TWCA qualified seal after they successfully meet a stringent set of criteria.
