The Scotts Company, Marysville, Ohio, announced a deal with Major League Baseball Properties to sell grass seed that’s specially blended to match the turf at Fenway and four other baseball stadiums.
Scotts, the designated “Official Lawn Care Company of Major League Baseball,” signed a multi-year agreement for sponsorship, licensing and national MLB-themed advertising.
The $3 billion company will also sell grass seed blends and fertilizers for Wrigley Field in Chicago, Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia and Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
